May at Common Farm Flowers

May at Common Farm Flowers

Just up the road from us nestled on a beautiful plot of Somerset countryside you will find Common Farm Flowers. Run by Georgie Newberry, this artisan florist company not only produces British bouquets by post and glorious wedding arrangements – they also hold some amazing courses.

We have now had quite a few guests who have attended one of their workshops, so we thought we’d give you a little bit of information about the great options for May!

Tuesday 9th May & Saturday 27th May – DIY Wedding Flowers

“Perfect for the DIY bride, this workshop will show you how to make the most of the flowers you have for your wedding, how many stems you’ll need, how long the flowers will need to condition, how best to make them last and how to arrange them.”

Tuesday 16th May – Travel Writing and Photography

“Planning a big trip? Dream of writing about it and taking amazing photographs for friends, family, or perhaps publication? Spend a day with travel writer, and Guardian masterclass tutor, Mark McCrum, learning how to do this.”

Wednesday 17th May – Style Your House for Photography

“Whether you’re a lifestyle blogger or you’d like to use your house for filming or advertising shoots, or even if you’re considering putting your house on the market, our workshop on styling your house for photography will be a day to inspire!”

Thursday 18th May – Create a Successful Lifestyle Blog

“Enjoy a day at Common Farm Flowers on this inspirational workshop, designed to help you learn how to start or how to grow your lifestyle blog.”
